The Caring Hands 4 HD website is now LIVE! You can read about the organizations mission by clicking here. The organizations mission is to help alleviate the financial burden associated with Huntington's Disease. Huntington's Disease is a devastating, hereditary, degenerative brain disorder for which there is, at present, no cure and only one FDA-approved treatment
(Xenazine) for a symptom of HD. HD slowly diminishes the affected individuals ability to walk, talk and reason. Eventually, the person with HD becomes totally dependent upon others for his or her care. Huntington's Disease profoundly affects the lives of entire families -- emotionally, socially and economically.
Help us help others by participating in Team Wolack's walk for Huntington's October 8th. For more information on the event click here.

According to mobile analytics firm Localytics., the mafority of iOS users are very slow to adopt new firmware updates. According to Localytics numbers, only a third of iPhone 3GS owners updated their device in the 24 hours following the release of iOS 4. It then took two more weeks for the next 40% to install it, and even as just 2 weeks ago, 20% of iPhone 3GS owners are still running older firmware. To some this is for no apparent reason, as the 3GS performs just fine on iOS 4. So why do we care about the laggards? As a project manager I think of all the developers who spend countless hours to make sure their apps are backwards compatible despite their hardwork have to avoid the storm of negative reviews in iTunes from users who are utilizing their iPhone independently of a computer like they did with their previous phones and aren't syncing or installing updates.
Perhaps over-the-air updates are the answer? It would result in improved customer satisfaction, imporved reviews for hardworking developers and improved efficiencies for all the project managers out there tracking apps!
